There exist 3 kind of filters that you can open :
1. PC Compiled filters (*.8bf).
2. Mac Compiled filters.
3. FFL Files (*.ffl) which are not compiled, but contain source code for multiple filters.

üúòË'To open a PC compiled filter, select 'Open PC Filter' from the File menu, or press command-O. It's that easy !

A dialog window will appear letting you choose a PC filter (must have the .8bf extension).
pcTAÒThe main reason I wrote FF & FFL decompile, is cause most of the Filter Factory Plugins you can find online, are in fact the PC Compiled versions. With this application, these can be opened and converted to .afs files, which can then be read by Filter Factory.

å@VIÿþTo open Filter Libraries, you should select 'Open FFL' under the File menu, or press command-F. A dialog window will appear letting you select the wanted FFL file.

Note : FFL files need to have the .ffl extension !

ë@:IÿþDouble-click on one of the filter names to open the desired filter. If you would like to batch-convert them to .afs-files, select 'Batch FFL' from the File menu.
A window listing all the filters inside the FFL file should appear. On top there is the name of the FFL file, and the number of filters it contains. In the lower part there is a listbox containing the names of the filters.

RsRcppUA02001´<¹ 'Ä@.¤¸     5ÊTo batch-convert a FFL file, open it using the File-Open FFL menu, and then select 'Batch FFL' from the File menu. It will ask you for a folder where to put the .afs files.
If you want to be able to import the filters in Filter Factory, then you should export them to a format the filter factory can read. To do that, choose 'Save .afs' from the File menu, or press command-S.

Note : that only works when a filter is opened. For info about opening filters, see the right chapters.

paCMÕpcTAÞpcTAßIf you don't know what FFL files are, let me try to explain. FFL files are libraries (that's what the L stands for) of Filter Factory source codes. They contain information about multiple Filter Factory Filters. To open them, go to the right chapter...

You can of course open every filter inside a FFL file by hand and then convert it, but there also is this batch convert ability.
